It is with great sadness that we pass on the tragic news that Russ Noble passed away suddenly earlier today.

As you well know, he was one of our long serving junior coaches at Cleckheaton as well as being a player and 2nd & 3rd XI Captain for many years.

He was a dear friend to us all at Cleckheaton and to many across the league and was very well known. As a club we are truly devastated and in complete shock. Our deepest condolences are with his wife Maria and his two sons, Richard & Steven at this difficult time.

Russ gave up so much of his time to develop the next generation of cricketers at Cleckheaton and will be sorely missed by many, many people. He was of course heavily involved in rugby at Moorend too and his passing will be felt equally as deeply with our colleagues in the rugby section.
